“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” Deut. 31:6.

Fear and panic are tools of the devil to manipulate humanity. When humanity “materializes,” that is lives for this passing world alone, forgetting, in reality, eternal life, then it fears greatly the loss of this world. That fear is a potent weapon.

Once again the mechanisms of fear and panic are being thrown into high gear. The current object by which to manipulate fear is the “Coronavirus.” Clearly,  a virus could do great physical harm. I’ll say it upfront, the point here is not to dismiss the potential harm of this virus.

My goal is to address the clear underlying agenda of creating mass fear in people and the Christian response to that fearmongering.

Why, we must ask, are all the mainstream media sources, the presstitute, all frantically beating the drums of panic and fear? Such a concerted effort by the propaganda fronts is very indicative of the fact that they have an agenda (please realize the big news agencies care nothing about you as a person.) Who benefits if people are whipped up into a frenzied panic? Why is the mouth of Sauron decreeing death and destruction? (CNN, for instance, does not scream jump unless its overlords tell it to.)

For starters, you must question the official narrative that this virus started, originated naturally, in a market place in China. This is a prepackaged story dropped in our laps for a reason. I’m not going to rehash here the viable information which very possibly indicates that the virus has other more sinister origins, rather I am going to direct you, my reader, to a few sources. One of the ways not to jump when the “masters” ring their bells is to understand the bigger picture, none of which will be given by the presstitute. They don’t want a balanced picture. Now, I’m not endorsing every point in every article but I am saying that there is much more going on than you are being told. The real facts point to the viable possibility that the current virus outbreak is a planned event. Yes, there are people that wicked in the world. 

Turn off the fear-tube! Stop ingesting the fear-mongering mainstream media!

You are being told to fear and panic, for this plays into the agenda of the power elites. People will surrender much under the duress of fear. A situation has been planned and created so as to bring fear and panic. I’m not going to pretend that I know specifically what the end agenda is but I’ve done enough research and studying to know that this current attempt at a “pandemic” comes not, most likely, from natural causes. Recall just a few of the past virus scares that did not gain traction, SARS, Ebola, Zika, and so forth. Does anyone else remember almost the identical reporting style with regard to Ebola, “A new case of Ebola in America …!”

If you think that the power elites would not use sickness to manipulate and control populations and people, then you need to think again. In their playbook are things like war, famine, disease, and so forth. At the heart of the secularist-globalist ideal is population reduction and control. They are ruthless and hard-hearted to the bone. They have no care for humanity because they serve the one who hates humanity. Yet they always mask it with care for humanity, a facade which most are naive enough to accept.

Extreme secularist governments, such as Communist Russia, have employed these measures in the past. The Bolsheviks used controlled forced famine, for example, to reduce and disperse various populations. It is also worth noting that the Bolsheviks were financed in great part by the power elites of the West. To some degree, the elites were funding experimentation of their own globalist goals in Russia, moreover, they hated the Tsar and Orthodoxy (did you ever wonder why the West never sanctioned Soviet Russian and it has a list to hell of “human right” violations, and yet it sanctions modern-day Russia for actions that pale in comparison? Soviet Russia was of the same cloth of secularism and it provided a good “red scare,” which is a big topic that I cannot cover here).

The famines of early Soviet times were not due to natural causes at all, they were synthetic, that is, they had their origin through the clear calculation and effort of certain men. Famines were created by these evil men to serve their wicked agendas. The current power elites are no less ruthless than the Soviets, although they may be more refined in their implementation. 

As the Soviets will answer for every drop of innocent blood they spilled in an effort to establish “paradise on earth” so will their cohorts and contemporaries, the power elites of our day, answer for all the innocent ones that have and will die as they attempt to implement their godless agenda.

Here is a review of Jonas Salk’s book, “The Survival of the Wisest” (to buy the book, even used, is hundreds of dollars), in which he elaborates on the elite’s plans which include the use of sickness and disease to control populations. Yes, that means killing people. This is not a “conspiracy theory” because the testimony comes from the globalist’s own mouth. Listen to the above video.

Ask yourself, who benefits from the current situation? Who benefits from economic turmoil? Who benefits from panic and fear? I can tell you it is not everyday folk.

All this to say: they want you to be fearful and panic. It is playing into their agenda. People are dying and will die. The “masses” are expendable. In fact, they want to reduce the “masses.”

So what are Orthodox Christians to do? Do not fear! The moment we begin to allow the toxic fumes of fear into our spiritual breath we will begin to die a worse death than the Coronavirus could ever bring.

Do we not believe that God sees all things and knows all things? He sees the demonic men who are rebelling against Him, He sees their evil deeds. If for now, God permits them to run out on a leash that does not mean they are free. They will hit the end of the leash and at the pace they are going they will snap their own necks.

What do I have to fear from the Coronavirus or anything for that matter? I will die one day regardless. I don’t mean this in some apathetic or flippant manner. While I live, I will strive to live for God; He alone has measured the span of my days; He alone holds life in His hands. I will do my part to live well in God but ultimately my life, and every life is governed by Him.

What then should I fear? Is this not what we as Orthodox just sang in the first week of Great Lent, “O ye powerful submit yourselves. For if ye again strengthen yourselves, ye shall again be vanquished. And whatsoever counsel ye shall take, the Lord shall bring it to naught. And the word, whatsoever ye speak, shall not remain with you. And of your fear we shall be neither afraid nor in dread. But the Lord our God, Him will we hallow, and He shall be fear unto us. And I will be trusting in Him … God is with us understand all ye nations and submit yourselves: for God is with us!” (Great Compline).

Orthodox Christians, do you not hear, of their fear we shall be neither afraid nor in dread! Why? The Lord our God Him alone shall we fear! If this is true then we shall walk fearlessly on this earth knowing that our life and our death are in the Lord’s hands. Nothing will harm us, that is, in the ultimate sense of harm. For the true servant of God sickness and death itself are no longer harmful. Only sin is. Fear of the Lord makes us fearless on earth.

What does the Psalmist say? “The Lord is my light and my savior; whom then shall I fear? The Lord is the defender of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Ps. 26/27:1). And again through the prophet Isaiah the Lord speaks, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My right hand … I, I am He who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass, and have you forgotten the Lord your Maker … you fear continually all the day …?” (Is. 41:10, 51:12-13).

The Lord Jesus Himself tells us, “Fear not little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom” (Lk. 12:32). And again, “Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can send away both soul and body into Gehenna” (Matt. 10:28).

Why is the Coronavirus so effective at creating fear? (Well, part of it is due to the establishment’s active fear-mongering.) It is because we love our earthly existence so much and to lose it is the greatest of losses to us. Our hearts are not in Heaven but in the things that we have on earth, which are passing away. In some way, it reveals where the hearts of men are.

The Gospel has become not a heavenly message but an earthly comfort. When it comes time to face death we panic, we fear. We fear to lose our earthly goods. In many sectors, Christianity is just a means by which to become “blessed” with material goods. “Where your treasure is there your heart shall be also” (Matt. 6:21).

Let us be sober, let us be wise; yet let us also be fearless and courageous as the Scriptures and the Church command us.

Don’t fear to kiss icons; don’t fear to get a blessing and kiss the hand of a priest; don’t fear to partake of antidoron; don’t fear to gather in church and worship the living God! Cross yourselves and trust in the providence of God.

Even if the Coronavirus does spread and cause havoc, let’s hope local Churches will have a better response than fairly lame statements about hygiene, which should be a given generally speaking. Sure, let’s keep things clean but if we cower with the world then we have nothing to offer and are completely useless.

Hold your heads upright and tall, you are sons and daughters of the Living God, citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, denizens of the New Jerusalem and your lives are in God’s hands. While we have breath let us live for God, let us repent and seek after Him; when the hour of death comes, as it will sooner or later, let us enter it with faith and hope in our Lord who destroyed the power of sin and death.

“The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever” (1 Jn. 2:17).

Forth, and fear no darkness, Orthodox Christians!

Remember, “outside are the fearful, the cowardly …” (cf. Rev. 21:8).
